In the fourth quarter of 2024, the cryptocurrency app landscape on iOS in Nigeria saw varied performance among the top five apps, with data insights provided by Sensor Tower.

OKX: Buy Bitcoin BTC & Crypto experienced a significant increase in weekly downloads during October, peaking at around 43K in the week of October 28. However, downloads declined steadily towards the end of the quarter, dropping to about 1.9K by December 30. The app's weekly active users followed a similar trend, reaching a high of approximately 248K in mid-November before decreasing to about 96K by the end of December.

Bybit: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto maintained a more stable pattern in downloads, with a slight peak at 15.9K in mid-November. Weekly active users saw a gradual decline from around 644K at the start of the quarter to approximately 403K by the end of December.

Pi Network showed consistent weekly downloads, ranging from around 6.5K to 15.8K throughout the quarter. Its weekly active user base remained relatively stable, fluctuating between approximately 403K and 461K.

Phantom - Crypto Wallet saw a notable surge in downloads during mid-December, reaching 51.7K, coinciding with a spike in active users to about 214K. This trend highlights a significant increase in user engagement towards the quarter's end.

Finally, Trust: Crypto & Bitcoin Wallet experienced stable weekly downloads, averaging around 6K to 7.7K. The active user count showed a moderate increase, peaking at approximately 334K in early December before settling at about 255K by the end of the month.
